Apparently, Chayanne is not the only family who likes to be in contact with people, his younger brother, Emanoel Figueroa, has launched his campaign for mayor of his hometown, San Lorenzo.

On Saturday, Mr. Quintino Figueroa, father and patriarch of the clan Chayanne Figueroa, accompanied his youngest son at the beginning of his campaign with a shirt that read "Emanoel 2010 for a new San Lorenzo."

interview with Puerto Rican newspaper Primera Hora, Don Quintino expressed support for his youngest son: "Emanoel, like Chayanne, who achieved success in music, you do so with equal success and goodness in politics and work well for his beloved town of San Lorenzo " said.
